Overall, satisfied
Overall we are satisfied with the new HX series tractors. The drivers tell us they are very comfortable, they like the new gauges and dash arrangement. We now have four of them and they are working well for us. On the other side we did have some problems that should have been addressed before delivery. We had rear axle seals leaked on just about all of them, not sure if axles are removed for transport and not properly reinstalled or what happened there. Some air conditioning not working, some loose bolts on rear steps, windshield wipers different sizes. Mainly just small items but disappointing on new truck purchases. A few options that I would like to see available would be
drive axle air presser gauges to assist us in axle weights, fuel tank fill at back of tank behind bunk as it is very unhandy reaching under bunk to get to fill port. Like I mentioned, small things just things that would make it a little bit easier. Thank you for taking time to check for concerns we might have that will help in the future.

A very solid unit!
We find the HX as a very solid unit. We run our 3 HX units in north and handle great on north roads. We have had same issue which was very minor as drivers step seems to crack. All issues dealt with quickly by Maxim. We are confident these units will be great for the winter as they are nice and solid units on the gravel and handle very nice, with plenty of power in the hills. Thank you!
