ACCOUNT MANAGER, SALES & LEASING
Our Account Managers play a key role in the Maxim family. They are often the first people our customers meet to discuss their whole goods needs. With customer service as a priority, having a professional, friendly, and dedicated sales team is very important to us.
If you have a strong desire to be successful by earning the trust of your customers, this role could be a great fit. You will be aiding clients with rental and leasing needs, along with the sales of used trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect new business through cold-calls, regular follow-ups and building customer relationships
- Manage lease account to ensure fleet availability meets customer needs meets customer needs
- Prepares sales quotes that ensure profitable sale and customer satisfaction
- Closes sales deals accurately using proper procedures
- Addresses after-sales questions and concerns, and ensures unit is prepared for on-time delivery
- Appraises trade-ins by compiling history details, visual inspection, and discussions with customer
- Preform yard check of units, if needed & communicate with other branches and departments
- Complete administration as needed
Please Note: A variety of experience and skills will be considered when selecting candidates
Qualifications
- 2+ years front-line customer service and sales experience
- 1+ years in the truck & trailer (or related) industry
- Background in sales and administration
- Sales / Business administration courses an asset
- Understanding of fleet maintenance practices an asset
- Driver’s Licence; Class 1 or 3 with air brakes an asset
- Customer service and sales focused
- Easily builds rapport and relationships with people at all levels
- Ability to prospect new customers and up-sell products
- Strong negotiation, listening, and closing skills
- Organized, sets priorities, meets deadlines
- Regularly sets and meets priorities and long term goals
- Attentive to detail, shows accuracy in work
- Self-managed and shows initiative
- Proficient with MS Excel/Word, email, internet, and keyboarding
- Ability to learn in-house computer system; Karmak knowledge an asset
- Ability to complete ongoing product sales training
- Shows assertiveness, persuasiveness, and initiative
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work outdoors while conducting vehicle checks
