Introducing the New IC School Bus - CE Series Diesel

A big focus on this new design is the increased visibility:

• You have a single-pane door glass for increased side visibility,
• a sloped hood that provides almost a foot of extra forward ground visibility,
• a three-piece windshield with no center post and a shaded band to reduce sun glare,
• an HVAC system with a 50% better defrost performance,
• daytime running lights with automatic twilight sensors on your headlights to boost early morning and nighttime visibility,
• and several other important tweaks to make sure the driver, kids, and pedestrians safer than ever

As for the cab itself, the CE series can be built to fit up to 77 passengers. It’s built with a 16-gauge steel body and interior panels for longevity and structural integrity, and 14-gauge steel threaded body bows with continuous runners connecting all roof bows for enhanced strength.

With an up to 50-degree wheel cut, these buses are perfect for tight in-city maneuverability, and Naviflex coating is available on the bumpers and fuel tank - for optimal corrosion resistance

This engine is a Cummins B6.7,  as a GVW Rating of up to 33,000 lbs, and is built with an Allison 2000 or 3000 transmission.

A IC Buses come equipped with OnCommand Connection, providing 24/7 access and visibility to real-time vehicle diagnostics and predictive maintenance tools, as well as Available Over-The-Air (OTA) engine programming without the need to stop in for a service.
