It is with profound sadness that the DLH Group announces the passing of our founder, Doug Harvey, on September 16, 2026. Doug passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family.
Doug founded the DLH Group of companies more than four decades ago and remained deeply connected to the enterprise throughout his life. To Doug, the DLH Group was always much more than a group of businesses. He cared deeply about our employees, the customers we served, and the relationships built along the way. His influence will continue to be felt throughout the organizations he built.
From British Columbia to Prince Edward Island, Doug was a passionate supporter of the communities he did business in. His generosity, leadership and commitment to giving back touched and inspired countless organizations and individuals. His contributions extended well beyond the business world and reflected his strong belief in helping others.
Most importantly, Doug was a husband, father, grandfather, friend and mentor.
Doug leaves behind an extraordinary legacy at the DLH Group and a strong foundation for a bright future. We are grateful for his vision, leadership and generosity, and above all, for the relationships he built with so many people over the years.
