Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe Drives an International LT to Open the $1.5 Billion Regina Bypass

Go figure – the Premier of Saskatchewan has a Class 1 Driver’s License. So he got behind the wheel of a new International LT Sleeper pulling a Great Dane trailer to lead the convoy to open Regina’s new $1.5 Billion bypass on Monday Oct 28, 2019. The truck and trailer combo were provided by AFI Distribution Group who are a lease customer of Maxim Truck & Trailer. The focus of the bypass was on safer roadways. The government estimates reduced collision rates because of the bypass will result in $2 million to $3 million in annual cost savings from property damage, injuries and fatalities. They bypass will open to the public on Tuesday Oct 29,. 2019.
