On Saturday, June 11, Manitobans participated in the Challenge for Life 2.0 20 km walk to raise money for CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Together they raised $955,062, an achievement made possible by the 757 participants from Winnipeg and all over the province.

Pictured is Doug Harvey, President of Maxim Truck & Trailer and Chairman of CancerCare Manitoba. Doug has been a supporter of CancerCare Manitoba for many years, has walked in the Challenge for Life walk since its inception in 2008, and recently experienced a battle with cancer first hand. Maxim's annual Charity BBQ on May 26th helped raise over $20,000 for the Maxim Challenge for Life team.

Since its inception, Challenge for Life has raised nearly $9,000,000 for CancerCare Manitoba. It owes its continued success to participants, donors, sponsors and volunteers. Maxim is proud to be part of such an amazing event, and looks forward to Challenge for Life's 10th anniversary next year.
