Qualifications:
  • Normally completed second year of trade school
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience
  • Must be able to perform these functions at a reasonable production rate:
    •     
    • 5th wheel repairs and adjustments
    • All suspension maintenance (e.g. bushings, airbags, hangers, etc.)
    • Maintenance of spring pins and steering components (less the steer box)
    • Diagnose and repair complete air systems
    • Diagnose and repair entire brake systems except ABS
    • New truck delivery preparation (PDIs)
    • Diagnose and repair basic driveline components (e.g. u-joints, hanger bearings, seals, etc.)
    • Download electronic control modules
    • Diagnose and repair advance electrical
    • Diagnose and repair heavy duty charging and cranking systems
Transportation Trailer Technicians
Positions available in:
  • Winnipeg
  • Edmonton
  • Calgary
Qualifications:
  • Normally completed second year of trade school
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience
  • Must be able to perform these functions at a reasonable production rate:
    • Basic landing gear repairs (e.g. bent or broken landing gear, not modifications)
    • All suspension maintenance (e.g. bushings, airbags, hangers, etc.)
    • Diagnose a complete airbag system
    • New trailer delivery preparation including wheel alignments
    • Basic hitch repair (e.g. pintle hitch repair)
    • Reefer interior repairs (walls and ceilings)
Mobile Technicians
Positions available in:
  • Saskatoon
  • Winnipeg
  • Mississauga
Responsibilities:

Deliver effective on-the-road maintenance, warranty and repair services on fleet equipment. With minimal supervision, and oftentimes working independently, complete service and repair tasks ranging from the basic to complex, including but not limited to:

  • Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting
  • Replacing electrical, hydraulic, A/C, components
  • Identifying differences between warranty, maintenance, or damage work
  • Performing diagnostics and structural repairs on critical components
  • Analyze customer needs and determine the scope of work needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work.
  • Assist the customer in making repairs and maintenance decisions.
  • Establish and maintain strong ongoing relations with customers
  • Maintain company equipment, including a pre and post trip inspection.

Education and Experience:

  • Background in the servicing of heavy equipment (i.e. Medium and Heavy Duty trucks, power tailgates, refrigeration units, trailers) is required
  • Journeyman HD Mechanic License is preferred
  • MOPIA certification and Class 1 or Class 3 with air Driver's License (or able to attain)

Skills:

  • Can identify the difference between warranty, maintenance, and repair
  • Proficient diagnostic computer skills
  • Proven superior customer service
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Can move objects up to 75 pounds
  • Able to stoop, bend, squat and kneel frequently
Collision Truck Body Repair Technicians
Positions available in:
  • Winnipeg
Qualifications:
  • Be proficient with a variety of tools and equipment, some of which are technologically advanced
  • Have good communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and problem solving skills
  • Have safe work ethics
  • Be able to work alone or in a group
  • Be committed to ongoing training
  • Be able to do a considerable amount of standing, crawling, lifting, climbing, pulling, and reaching
Collision Truck Paint Technicians
